All functions, including Left and Right clicks, work normally when in the main game window, as usual. All other functions of EDR work inside the diplomacy window as usual. + Added EDR to the DiplomacyActionView window! Disabled LEFT-Click and RIGHT-Click when inside this window to avoid breaking up the hierarchy of diplo calls. + Be advised: these changes may affect compatibility with other mods that modify DiplomacyActionView.xml, such as Simplified Gossip. It is an essential mod for the serious diplomat. EDR combines all that information into a simple, readable and always present combination of tooltips, mouse overs and clicks. All the information displayed is available in-game in vanilla Civ6, but in different places of the UI and not readily at hand. This mod extends the Diplomacy Ribbon to display all the relevant diplomatic information in one place. It's a shame, because most of the posts I've read with the same issue decide to not use EUI after they perform a clean reinstall (assuming EUI caused the problem to begin with, like I did.UP TO DATE WITH APRIL 2021 "NOTHING" PATCH!ĬOMPATIBLE WITH VANILLA, RISE & FALL AND GATHERING STORM !ĭo you want to up your Diplomatic Game to the next level without getting an Accountant degree? Would you like to see all relevant political information in one place for quick, optimal decisions, without diving into countless, different windows and subwindows? If you answered yes, then EDR is for you. Whatever the case, a clean reinstall worked. I feel like whatever happened was just a fluke corrupted file, or perhaps a rare bug in the game that caused a corrupted file, since I've read so many other people have had the same issue. Only a complete clean reinstallation fixed the problem. ** This was for Modded and UnModded New Games as well. Verify cache after removing all mods + EUI had the same effect. Removing mods and/or EUI also changed behavior but didn't resolve it.ĥ. Verify cache changed the behavior of the issue, but didn't resolve it.Ĥ. I'd played several other matches prior to that with the same mods + EUIģ. It happened after loading a game I'd been playing for days without issue.Ģ. I can't tell for sure, because I can't repeat it.ġ. I have the exact same configuration, so now I'm leaning toward something in the base game being the catalyst, perhaps instigated by a UI alteration from EUI or one of the mods durring configuration or runtime. Then, I actually reinstalled EUI and the same exact mods again, and haven't had a single issue since. After several attempts at a solution, I ended up performing a clean reinstall. That's why I was leaning toward that being the catalyst. All you say is reasonable to assume, but not infalible.I admit that I'm unfamiliar with the way mods work in Civ5, but I've been modding long enough to know that mods can definitely break games. Since many people have this issue, I'm hoping the community can help me resolve it, and we can come up with a clear cut fix for this for anyone else that runs into it eventually. Is it a case where once it's broke you can't fix it? I've read that deleting a from eui folder could fix it, and I've read a coulple responses that say it does, but does it really? I uninstalled the entire EUI and my banners were still gone. Now I'm reinstalling the entire game, which should fix the problem, but there has to be someone who's encountered this and fixed it in an easier way, or knows how to avoid it. I also delted the cache folder in My Docs and verified the game through Steam without success. Disabling mods has not solved the problem, and uninstaling EUI has not solved the problem either. Now all my city banners are invisible (and unclickable). I'm running my game with a few mods, and everything was 100% fine until I went to load a save game. I've seen multiple people have this issue, and I'd like some help actually finding a solution.
